Remove the item from public view once it is placed in somebody's cart.
It is a disappointment when you put something into the checkout & continue to shop you can lose it if somebody else purchases and the stock is low - I would think that it is in your cart it should be removed for others.

I agree with Romee. You may leave the item in your cart for ages and then decide you don't want it after all, in the meantime someone else that may have wanted it, will miss out because you have it in your cart.
Maybe like Kristine says, if you put it in your cart then you have about 5 mins to go through to checkout before it is taken by someone else.

Sorry but first come first serve. Some people have the item in their cart for days. It’s selfish to think others aren’t able to purchase it because another person was indecisive

Another company does this. They remove the item but you have a limited period of time to complete shopping. I had placed a few items in my cart once & when I went to complete the transaction the prices had returned to their original non sale prices & I had to start again. Luckily it all worked out.

Sorry to be that person. But personally I think first come first serve-you gotta checkout if you want it that much! Otherwise I've found there are other issues that arise with that.
